To Learn About FRST

The Forest Restoration Support Team is a community-driven workforce of private landowners and volunteers, working together for healthier Illinois forests. Our educational workshops and volunteer workdays are open to everyone interested in learning more about the identification, ecology and control of non-native invasive species. Membership is not required to participate. At FRST, we strive to:

  1. Educate: Raise invasive species awareness and provide hands-on experience.
  2. Connect: Build a network of private landowners, volunteer stewards and other conservation-mind groups.
  3. Restore:  Provide relief to Illinois’ largest group of forest stewards and private landowners.
